Admission to the FDPE courses

FDPE (Finnish Doctoral Programme in Economics) does not organize the courses itself but is a cooperative initiative of the economics disciplines of the 9 participating universities to guarantee wide access of Finnish students to the nationwide economics education. As a general rule, all students of the member universities participating in doctoral level education in economics are eligible to enroll. However, depending on the organizing universities' constraints, in some courses additional restrictions may apply.

Information on how to register for the courses can be found on the Helsinki GSE webpage: How to enroll in the courses?

Doctoral students not enrolled at one of the participating university units, including students in foreign universities, may participate subject to space and other constraints. Prospective students are advised to contact Helsinki GSE's coordinator Jenni Rytkönen (jenni.rytkonen [at] aalto.fi).
