Admission to the FDPE courses

FDPE (Finnish Doctoral Programme in Economics) does not organize the courses itself but is a cooperative initiative of the economics disciplines of the 9 participating universities to guarantee wide access of Finnish students to the nationwide economics education. As a general rule, all students of the member universities participating in doctoral level education in economics are eligible to enroll. However, depending on the organizing universities' constraints, in some courses additional restrictions may apply.

Registration for the courses takes place through the FDPE portal.

Doctoral students not enrolled at one of the participating university units, including students in foreign universities, may participate subject to space and other constraints. Prospective students are advised to contact directly the teacher of the course or the organizing department's staff.
